Ground Test of a Small Scale (~500kW) Fuel Cell HIPS (Hydrogen Integrated Propulsion System) based on state of the art components targeting identification of failure modes by full “virtual flight test”. Complete drive train system iron bird including propulsive and non-propulsive loads @TRL5. Flight Test of a Small Scale LH2 Integral Tank (100kg LH2, G.I.25%) to investigate in-flight behaviour (sloshing, boil-off, thermo-mechanical behaviour, etc.) @TRL5 by end of Phase 1.
