(JTI-CS2-2014-CFP01-AIR-01-04) - AERO-ACOUSTIC EXPERIMENTAL CHARACTERIZATION OF A CROR (CONTRA ROTATING OPEN ROTOR) ENGINE WT MODEL WITH CORE FLOW IN PROPELLERS ARCHITECTURE

Programme: Horizon 2020 Framework Programme
Call: Clean Sky 2 Call for Proposals 01 EU

Topic description

Scope:

The CROR engine architecture with primary flow ejection into propellers is a promising technology to reduce CROR engine weight. Unfortunately, state-of-the-art numerical methods are not mature enough to predict the impact of this technology on broadband noise. Wind-tunnel test is then necessary to assess the noise.  Please refer for the full and formal topic description to Annex III of the Clean Sky 2 Work Plan 2014-2015 Amendment nr. 1  Version 3 (see under the tab "Topic Conditions and Documents")
