Topic description

Scope:

The current proposal is aimed at understanding the flow physics involved in the generation and propagation of combustion noise through turbine blade rows in low emission core aero engines and developing advanced analytical combustion noise prediction tool for industrial purpose. This tool will be used to design a quieter (i.e. low noise) low-emission technology for the middle-of-market VHBR engine in WP5 of Engine ITD, and for the large engine market VHBR engine demonstrator in WP6 of Engine ITD.  Please refer for the full and formal topic description to Annex III of the Clean Sky 2 Work Plan 2014-2015 Amendment nr. 1  Version 3 (see under the tab "Topic Conditions and Documents")
