Power Density improvement demonstrated on a certified engine

Topic description

Scope:

The purpose is to increase the power density from a state of the art engine by introduction of adequate technologies for which TRL 6 is targeted.

To increase the power output/reduce weight, engine parts design could be modified (as crankcase with unit pumps, cylinders/sleeves, cylinders head, rod, bearing...) using alternative materials (High characteristics Aluminium, Titanium…).
