Topic description

Specific Challenge:

The objective is to deliver flight cleared heater layers to be embedded in composite structures to provide anti-icing and de-icing capability where safety requirements dictate ultra high reliability, while operating in high strain and vibration conditions. Representative test items will be used for structural and environmental testing and the flight cleared components will be embedded in the rotor blades and airframe sections of the tiltrotor.
